THE STORY OF TASTY DUMPLING

Our journey began in the late 1940s, when Mark Chou's grandparents opened a humble food stall and began crafting dumplings by hand, each one made with care, tradition, and the flavors of Northern China. Over the years, they perfected a recipe that blended their heritage with the vibrant culinary spirit of Taiwan. These dumplings became a cherished family tradition, passed down through generations.

Mark grew up watching his grandfather insist on only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients. Nothing was ever rushed, each dumpling was folded with purpose and pride. That philosophy still guides us today: fresh ingredients, handmade with love.

In 2020, he opened his first restaurant in Sacramento, nestled in the heart of Crocker Village. The community’s warm embrace encouraged him to grow, and on January 27, 2025, he opened his second location on Fair Oaks Blvd.
